Assemblywoman Melissa Melendez Endorses Randon Lane

(Murrieta, Calif.) – Popular Assemblywoman and Navy veteran Melissa Melendez has endorsed Murrieta Mayor Randon Lane for Riverside County Board of Supervisors.

Melendez, who represents western Riverside County, said in her endorsement, “The County faces real budget challenges and we need principled leadership on the Board that will prioritize spending rather than advocate new taxes. Randon Lane can be counted on to stand firm against tax increases and protect local taxpayers. I am proud to support him and know he will help the county navigate these difficult times.”

“I am excited to have Melissa Melendez’s support of my campaign,” said Lane. “She’s been a star in Sacramento, fighting for conservatism, and protecting taxpayers.”

Melendez joins Congressman Ken Calvert, Congressman Paul Cook, Congressman Duncan Hunter, and Supervisor Kevin Jeffries in support of Lane’s candidacy.

Lane is a successful businessman and civic leader. He’s running on a platform of Three Pillars of Quality of Life: Infrastructure, public safety, and economic development. These principles have helped make Murrieta one of the best managed cities in Riverside County and earning it the #1 ranking of Forbes post-recession “boom towns” in America, as well as, the FBI’s second safest city in the country.
